Neuse Regional Libraries is dedicated to providing the community with the tools and resources necessary to accomplish their goals. One of the most important and powerful resources made available to patrons is technology. With libraries leading the way in the use of technology, it’s important to make sure that the public remains educated about its use.

With technology evolving at such a rapid pace, it can be intimidating to venture into the world of computers. If you’re a novice or just looking to brush up on your computer skills, you may consider making use of the Library’s free computer classes offered throughout the region.

If you are not familiar with computers or haven’t used one in a while, Computer Basics is a great place to start. You will learn about the main components of a computer as well as how to use the Windows operating system. In Internet Basics, you will learn how to navigate the internet and make use of search engines such as Google to find the information that you’re looking for. Email Basics will teach users how to set up their own email accounts as well as how to compose an email and send attachments such as documents and pictures.
