Digital marketing pro leads Furnitureland South’s e-commerce ops

JAMESTOWN, N.C. — Top 100 retailer Furnitureland South announced that Bobby Gaddy is its director of e-commerce, a position he assumed in October.

In his new role for the Jamestown, N.C.-based retailer, Gaddy’s responsibilities encompass overseeing the Furnitureland South digital experience. This involves managing the digital ecosystem, ensuring its vitality and optimization and playing a pivotal role in facilitating digital growth. Additionally, he is entrusted with forging connections between the brand and its digital audience.

As a bridge-builder, he emphasizes collaboration and knowledge sharing, aiming to foster connections between the talent within Furnitureland South and its customers. His strategic vision aligns with the company’s goals of enhancing customer experience, driving digital innovation and expanding market reach.

During his tenure, he garnered recognition for his leadership in spearheading the development and successful implementation of a comprehensive, global e-commerce solution. This initiative seamlessly integrated B2B and D2C capabilities, contributing significantly to the company’s digital growth and market presence.

Gaddy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Communications from Clemson University. Officials say his academic foundation, combined with extensive experience in business relationship management, positions him as a dynamic leader in the realm of e-commerce.
